Redmond Police are investigating a stabbing that happened Thursday afternoon. According to the latest, at approximately 4:55 pm, a shelter in place was recommended for the area of SW 5th and 6th between SW Evergreen Ave., and SW Cascade Ave as officers attempted to locate a suspect involved in a stabbing. A male victim was found stabbed on SW 6th Street, and was transported to the hospital. The knife was located during the initial response. Officers and detectives were in the area for an extended period investigating the crime. There are no other details at this time. The shelter in place has been lifted.
