NHL Playoffs: Dallas Stars beat Winnipeg Jets to take 3-1 series lead

The Dallas Stars beat the Winnipeg Jets 3-1 in Game 5 of their second-round Western Conference playoffs, to take a 3-1 series lead.

Mikael Granlund registered his first-career hat trick (scoring three goals) and Jake Oettinger made 31 saves in the Stars’ victory, bringing them one win away from advancing to the Western Conference Final for the third consecutive season.

Game 5 is scheduled to take place Thursday at Winnipeg.
