Hospice of Redmond announces the return of its premier holiday fundraising event, the 42nd annual Festival of Trees. This beloved Central Oregon tradition, recognized as the ‘Best Nonprofit Event’ of the year (2024 and 2025) by Source Weekly, will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at the Deschutes County Fairgrounds.
The daytime event, free to the public, will be from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm, and doors open for the evening event at 5:00 pm.
The ticketed, semi-formal Gala will feature approximately 33 exquisitely decorated holiday trees, transforming the venue into a winter wonderland. Attendees will enjoy a gourmet catered dinner by Core Catering and live music amid the sparkling display of artistry, culminating in a high- energy live auction where the stunning designer trees and associated “gifts” are sold to the highest bidder. All proceeds from the evening directly support Hospice of Redmond’s essential end-of-life, bereavement, and community outreach programs across Central Oregon.

The continued recognition, including being named the Best Nonprofit Event affirms the impact of our collective effort, and we look forward to making this the most successful year yet.”
The success of the Festival is driven entirely by community support.
“This incredible tradition wouldn’t be possible without the profound generosity of our community—they are truly the heart of the Festival,” said Jody, Volunteer Coordinator for Hospice of Redmond. “It takes dedicated volunteers and sponsors, from the decorators crafting the stunning trees for auction and the crew loading them for delivery the next day, to the sponsors who give financially or through in-kind donations. This collective effort is what makes the Festival of Trees a truly one-of-a-kind event.”
The festivities begin earlier in the day with a free, family-friendly tree-viewing event on Saturday, December 6th, from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Community members are invited to enjoy the spectacular display, meet Santa, enjoy delicious cookies, and cast their vote for the highly coveted People’s Choice Award, a title bestowed upon a favorite tree each year.
