As part of ongoing ADA accessibility improvements in Bend, the intersections of U.S. 20/Purcell Boulevard and U.S. 20/27th Street will be reduced to a single lane in each direction overnight beginning tonight, Monday, June 8, through Thursday, June 11.
Work will take place from 8 p.m. each evening until 6:30 a.m. the following morning. During those hours, the intersections will be reduced to a single lane in each direction and traffic will be controlled by flaggers. Minimal delays are expected.
Crews will reconstruct ADA curb ramps and make traffic signal upgrades at both intersections to improve accessibility and reliability.
What you can expect:
- One lane open in each direction.
- Flaggers directing traffic.
- Slower travel times during work hours.
