The engines are revving, the chrome is shining, and Central Oregon’s car culture is about to make history. On Saturday, July 19, 2025, from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM, the first-ever car show will cruise into the heart of Bend’s Old Mill District — bringing together classic cars, community spirit, and charitable purpose along the banks of the scenic Deschutes River.
The Old Mill Classic Cruz is a brand-new community event celebrating automotive artistry and patriotism. Proceeds from the car show will directly support The Battle Buddies of Central Oregon, a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to preventing veteran and first responder suicides through therapeutic canine companionship and training.
This inaugural event is proudly presented by VR Garage, Bend’s premier classic car and motorcycle restoration and upgrade shop. With expertise in vintage automobile and motorcycle services—from full custom builds to precision exhaust work—VR Garage brings both passion and craftsmanship to the Old Mill Classic Cruz. As Title Sponsor, their support helps drive both the event and a commitment to community causes.

Founded in 2013, The Battle Buddies of Central Oregon operates with an all-volunteer team of dedicated citizens, pairing rescue dogs with veterans and first responders to provide emotional support, purpose, and healing.
This family-friendly event invites car owners, collectors, local businesses, and spectators to participate in a day filled with vintage vehicles, local food, music, and meaningful impact. Event organizers are currently accepting registrations, volunteers, and business sponsorships to help fuel the event’s success.
